Michael Lavelle has assumed ownership of the Bistro as of June 1, 2013 and is essentially leaving things as they are. The addition of "Docs Gallery" showcasing "First Nations Art" in the loft above the Bistro is going to be a welcome addition to the already thriving arts community in the county. "The opportunity to showcase Dr.Paul Morgan’s private collection of first nations art is truly an honour...Dr Morgan a recent Caring Canadian Award winner has a very extensive collections of first nations art" says Michael Lavelle.
The Gallery will feature original works by Norval Morrisseau, Roy Thomas, Norman Knott, Gord Fiddler, James Jacko, Michael Robinson as well as selected prints and sculpture from various Canadian artists.

However, this year we are moving the main focus of the gallery into the house next door to the gallery . The house which is getting a full make over should be ready for June 1st and will offer a 2 bedroom guest suite for weekend rental . Stay tuned for more details .
