A small family run craft brewery located in idyllic Prince Edward County. Opening Summer 2016! As everyone in the County knows, if you don’t tell your own story, we’ll make one up for you. So we’re taking the time to tell ours. It’s the story of an honest day’s work and the pride that comes from starting something from nothing. A tale of barns, families and glasses raised in a community that truly defines the word.
Filled with memorable characters and reflecting the many quirks of County life, every beer reveals a unique history. Crafted authentically, brewed sustainably and shared passionately, every word and every drop is true.

** Special Release** Sweet Devil - a County Collaborative Maple Barrel Fermented Stout ABV 6.0% IBUs 35.0 . . . Our goal was to create a beer that had slight maple undertones without completely dominating the flavour and mouthfeel of the beer. So we leaned on an age old tradition of fermenting beer in oak barrels and teamed up with @kinsipspirits. They use their barrels to age their maple syrup once they are beyond their shelf life for aging spirits. This particular barrel had Kinsip Wild Oak Whiskey in it for 2-1/2 years and subsequently Nyman’s maple syrup for another 9 months. . . . We brewed our premium Devil's Right Hand Stout - "the Son" and transferred 200L of the batch into the #Whiskey maple barrel, pitched ale yeast and let nature do it's thing. The results could have been disastrous, ending up either overly sweet or the yeast could have converted the maple sugars into a high ABV monster. Instead it turned out absolutely perfect - the toasty chocolate and coffee tones normally present were subdued and replaced with a tinge of maple.
