Description
Artistic Inklings showcases Tattoos by Jamie Williams and Fine Art from Prince Edward County and surrounding areas. Jamie Williams was born and raised in Prince Edward County, and despite moving away to pursue her education, The County has always been "home" and she is thrilled to be back in the area.
Jamie studied Fine Arts at McMaster University, followed by Teachers College at UOIT. She had planned on teaching Art and English at the high school level; however, her path quickly changed when she met Lannie Glover, owner of Fantality Tattoo in Peterborough.
In 2007 Jamie jumped at the opportunity to apprentice under Lannie, and has been honing her skills ever since. Jamie works in many different styles including: old school, Japanese, and realism, to name a few, but she especially enjoys the challenge of cover-ups and portraiture.
Artistic Inklings combines her passion for tattooing and fine art, as it is a combination space where Jamie tattoos and hosts art shows for artists in Prince Edward County and the surrounding areas.
The studio offers a unique environment for artists to showcase their work either as a solo show or part of a group showing where there will be a diverse audience.
