It was time to bring the Orangetheory Fitness studios to OTTAWA!  

Orangetheory Fitness is the only brand to use heart-rate monitored high intensity interval exercise (HIIT) and group personal training, based on science, to maximize calorie burn. Orangetheory Fitness offers a unique and energizing workout that is systematically designed to increase endurance, strength, and power. Our workout specializes in 5-zone heart rate-based interval training and uses a variety of equipment including treadmills, water rowers, TRX® suspension training, and free weights to stimulate metabolism and burn 500 – 1,000 calories per session, including the after burn effect. Led by skilled fitness trainers, Orangetheory’s group sessions are high intensity and fun. Our one-of-a-kind heart rate monitoring technology OTbeat™ lets each participant push their individual peak performance. The result is the Orange Effect – more energy, visible toning, and extra calorie burn for up to 36 hours post workout. The Orangetheory Fitness training session is comprised of three components: treadmill interval blocks, indoor rowing and weight room or resistance training blocks.  Orange is the most productive zone to be in, hence the name: "Orangetheory."
