Cricklewood Farm
Description
Stop by our gift shop where we sell fresh produce (PYO apple orchard, pumpkins, sweet corn, raspberries & squash) or walk our 6-acre corn maze! Welcome to Cricklewood Farm!
We are a 5th generation family owned and operated farm located 2km West of Brighton, ON. There is a 10-acre apple orchard for Pick Your Own and ready picked apples - 40+ varieties of apples!
We feature a 6-acre Corn Maze and a 0.5-acre Toddler Maze. This year we are working with the Presqui'ile Point Lighthouse Preservation Society, so the maze is shaped like a giant lighthouse! There are games and puzzles to complete in the maze to earn prizes!

We are really excited about this years corn maze! We will be honouring those who serve us; - the military, police, firefighters, and first responders. We will be partnering with wounded warriors. Wounded Warriors Canada is a national mental health charity whose mission is to honour and support Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and their families. The organization provides a wide range of programs and services for individual members and families affected by Operational Stress Injuries. Can’t wait to get started😀!!
Trimmed all the outside planters and got them ready to store in the cold storage. They will survive the winter that way and be ready to put out on the spring.
Wanted to make a correction to our announcement about our donation to PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary. The wonderful volunteer who accepted the donation and showed us around was Ken Bruder not Ted. Our apologies Ken! Thank you for all your help.
Before the snow fell we had a little surprise. Some of our irrigation lines had been stored outside stretched between two stakes in the ground. They had been there for months. Brent was in the orchard when he noticed these lines blowing across the field. Once he investigated he realized coyotes had been playing, pulled out one of the stakes, chewed on the lines, and had a fantastic time. It was a little annoying since we had to gather the lines and throw them out. However coyotes are really beneficial to the orchard because they keep the mice population in check and we really appreciate that.
We are excited to announce that our donation to the PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary was more than $500 above our goal. On December 6 we presented Ted, one of the volunteers, with $2040. After the presentation Ted took us for a quick tour to see the donkeys again. Sheila was out on an emergency run. The money raised will go towards winterizing the barn. This donation would not have been possible without the generosity of the community and our customers. Thank you everyone!!
Our market and maze are now closed for the season. In 2018 we will be open mornings, in early July, for raspberries. Our maze will be opening the first weekend in August. We want to thank all our customers, PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary, our sponsors Oldies 100.9 and the community for their support in 2017. Happy holidays and may the new year bring good fortune and happiness!!!

We have exceeded our donation goal of $1500 for PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary!!😀 We can't wait to see what our final tally will be after November 5. They might be using this money to help pay for expenses resulting from a donkey's recent surgery. We are so glad that we will be able to help out.
Last apple to join our apple lineup - Goldrush!! Hard, crisp and tart with a spicy twist. You can find them in the store or pick your own. We still have other apples to pick as well. Come and stock up on some delicious apples.
