Description
Interactive Metronome is a research-based training program designed to help children and adults with timing in the brain (temporal processing). The Interactive Metronome (IM) is a research-based training program that helps children and adults overcome memory, attention, and coordination difficulties.
The Interactive Metronome improves "timing in the brain" which is responsible for focusing attention, reading comprehension, remembering information, processing speech, motor coordination and several other human capabilities.
Current literature reveals neural timing deficits in ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, Reading Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorder, Parkinson's and other conditions, which makes it a perfect program or adjunct to therapy.
The Interactive Metronome (IM) is available in Ottawa/Gatineau. At Achieve Therapy Centre, Nathalie Mabon, Registered Occupational Therapist, has been an Interactive Metronome provider since 2007 with a special focus on child therapies.
