Welcome to the official Facebook page of Kanata Golf and Country Club A classic parkland course located in the heart of Kanata just minutes from Highway 417 and the nation’s capital, Kanata Golf and Country Club offers a peaceful escape for urban golfers.
Opened originally in 1965, the course was completely redesigned by renowned architect Tom McBroom in 1990. The strategically placed mature trees, rolling mounds and large bunkers set the tone for the course, while its small- to medium-sized tricky greens place a premium on shot selection and ball control.
Known as one of the best maintained courses in the Ottawa area, Kanata Golf and Country Club played host to the 2001 Nations' Cup featuring teams of the best female pros from Canada, the U.S., and Sweden. In fact, it was on the short but difficult par-3 16th hole, considered one of the most challenging in the region, that proved critical during Lorie Kane’s match against Annika Sorenstam.
Practice facilities include a chipping green, putting green and iron range located beside the first tee.
The clubhouse overlooks the ninth and 18th holes and features a banquet room for intimate meetings and a larger hall for special events, including a private balcony.

Tee time reservations can be made anytime through LinkLine. To officially kick off our 50th Anniversary season we will have a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 1 at 8:45 a.m. with original Members Ted Smale, Nancy Harle, Marg McNichol and Eileen de Rosonroll, as well as Kanata's first CPGA Professional Gerry McKee. Even if you don't plan on playing early Tuesday morning, we hope you are able to come out for this ceremony as we welcome in our 50th season at Kanata Golf and Country Club.
