Iron Road Brewing is what happens when two geologists (Richard Phillips & Jared Tarswell) with a passion for great beer get together and start a craft brewery. We've teamed up with award-winning brewer Aaron MacInnis to craft delicious, balanced beer that you're going to love.
We're conveniently located on Camosun Crescent, only blocks away from Thompson Rivers University. Stop in for cold beer and great food in our 60-person taproom where you can watch the game or see the brewing process up close and personal.

Join us at The Blue Grotto Nightclub on March 14th for some Family Feud. We're going to have our beer on tap, along with friends Red Collar Brewing. However, it'll be "friends off" temporarily as we are also going to be going head-to-head against Red Collar in a round family feud. There will also be music, and lots of fun to be had! Mack Gordon brings his cabaret style Family Feud night to the The Blue Grotto Nightclub on Wednesday, March 14th. This will be an evening of crowd participation, whether you register a "family" of 4 to compete in the show or just sit back and provide some high brow crowd banter. Red Collar Brewing and Iron Road Brewing beer will be pouring AND the two breweries will be going head-to-head in our celebrity round. The doors open at 7pm and cover is $5. Registration to compete in the show will happen between 7pm and 8pm and will be on a first come first served basis. Families are STRONGLY encouraged to dress up with a specific theme (Hawaiian shirts, 80's gear, etc). This is a 19+ event.
East India Porter is back! This historic recipe is brewed with an array of Simpsons roasted malts, and hopped with Cascade from Topp's Hops. Robust flavours of chocolate, coffee and dark fruits are accompanied by floral hops and a firm bitterness. Currently on tap and for fills, with bottles coming soon!

Want to know what pairs great with wet and dreary weather? A sessionable cask! Come preview our Nordic Session Ale today. We'll be tapping at 4:00! . We brewed this beer with Mosaic, Enigma and Vic. Secret hops. The cask is dry hopped with Citra. Vienna, Biscuit and light crystal malts serve a solid foundation for these hops.
