Part Three of our series in Luke's Gospel - Jesus' Journey to the Cross - takes us into Judas' decision to betray Jesus, and the way Jesus reorients Passover to be a picture of his saving work on the cross (Lk 22:1-30). See the webpage to watch or listen to the sermon, and follow the link below for Life Group questions. https://www.summitdrive.com/jesus-journey-to-the-cross-part-three/

This past week we kicked off our new series where we are slowing down, and looking into Jesus' final week. In God's geography of grace, his map is often larger than ours, and in the first message, Pastor Dave talks about the significance of Luke's statement that Jesus' "resolutely set his face on Jerusalem" (Lk 9:51) - that Jesus had a very clear mission to go to one place, but that would mean the good news of the gospel spreading to every place (Acts 1:8). If you missed the message on Sunday, you can hear it here. Life Group discussion questions are also available from our webpage (https://www.summitdrive.com/jesus-journey-to-the-cross-part-one/). https://www.summitdrive.com/podcast/the-geography-of-grace/

This morning we are concluding our series "Loving God" with a message on wonder in worship - a reminder that there is nothing in all of creation that is not meant to draw our hearts to a place of awe and reverence of the One who made it all - and gave his life to redeem it! "Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens." Psalm 8:1

The Nativity story is open to being sentimentalized, becoming like a well-worn path where the characters and plot can easily become predictable. But the witness of the scriptures, if we listen, reawaken our imaginations. And the Nativity as told in the book of Revelation ensures that we know what is truly happening "behind the scenes." Join us as we continue to recalibrate our expectations.

Hello everyone! As we move into the Advent season, we are focusing again on the coming of Jesus - but this year with a bit of a twist. Our series: Christmas Revealed is diving into Revelation 12 to see how this telling of the Christmas story opens our eyes and imaginations to the bigger picture. I've attached the notes and some study questions from our first session below for you to continue to consider what it means that the Word became flesh - and what that means for how we live now. Enjoy! https://www.summitdrive.com/christmas-revealed-part-one-christmas-from-the-book-of-revelation/
