St Eugene College, Burpengary
Description
‘Where I Belong’ At St Eugene College every student belongs. They belong to their house, their class, their phase and most importantly our P-12 family. St Eugene College Burpengary began the year with 153 staff and 1,225 students from Prep to Year 12. St Eugene's is a warm, welcoming community. As a Catholic School we endeavour to be a Christian community in which nurture in faith is integrated within full human growth and development. St Eugene’s includes within its program the vital place of faith in the lives of our children. We are involved in awakening, nourishing and developing this faith.

R U OK DAY??? Our Year 12 Spirit Leaders support our College by raising awareness of important days throughout the year. Our Carroll Leaders are tackling the significant issue of mental wellbeing on their spirit day – R U OK Day – Monday 26th August! The purpose of R U OK Day is to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and support anyone struggling with life. Our Year 12 Carroll Spirit Leaders hope to help students meaningfully connect with each other and strengthen their sense of belonging at St Eugene College! So, how can our students get involved on Monday 26th August? • ALL students from Prep to Year 12 are encouraged to wear yellow accessories with their school uniform (e.g. socks, hair ties, bow ties, etc.)! No donation needed – this is just about raising awareness. • Fun first break activities in Rodrigo Hall for our junior and middle years students. • Conversation Corners around the College, where students can have a chat, a hug and even score a free yellow lolly-pop! Make sure you get involved with this fun and important day… A big thanks to our Year 12 Carroll Spirit Leaders for their preparation!
