A snapshot introduction..
My name is Deborah Easthope and I’m a proud mother of two gorgeous girls. Living in Buderim, on the Sunshine Coast, is amazing, beautiful and has proven to be a wonderful place for raising my family. I have called the Coast home for over 23 years.

Supporting a woman through their unique, challenging, joyful, intense and amazing birth journey is such a privilege. I believe in the beauty & strength of a mother’s body and in her power and innate ability to birth her baby - her way.

Women intuitively know how to give birth just as their baby instinctively knows how to be born.

As your doula I will protect the space where yours and your bubbas needs are met.
I will provide you with encouragement, respect and loving care.
I will listen to you and your partner as you share your sense of wonder, your hopes, joys and dreams for the baby that you have created and are growing.

I will listen to all that you wish for in planning for this most amazing of moments - the birth of your baby.
I will support your choice of birth that is right for you - whether natural or surgical.
I will listen and support you through your questions, beliefs and fears.
I will provide you with emotional and physical support and combine these with words of encouragement and reassurance.

In listening I will be able to learn what is important to you so that I can offer you the tools and knowledge that you can use to make the birthing decisions that best suit you and your family.

My background is in nursing and in discovering the role of doula I have found my passion!
My familiarity with the medical world and hospital protocols will allow me to offer you a sense of security in this unfamiliar space.

My goal is for you to have the labour and birthing experience that you desire.
