St. Monica School San Francisco, California
Description
Where Students are Loved and Challenged!
St. Monica School is a co-ed Catholic elementary school that serves students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Founded in 1919 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, St. Monica is also currently a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange Education Network. We are located in the middle Richmond District of San Francisco, California and are home to a culturally diverse population of families.
The administration, faculty, and staff of St. Monica School cooperate with our parent community to provide a loving, Christ centered environment where each student is given the opportunity to thrive. Our academic curriculum is challenging. We pride ourselves in producing graduates who are well prepared to succeed in the high school of their choice. Our students excel in our well-defined and challenging curriculum which stresses basic skills and competencies, as well as the arts, music and technology. Our environment speaks for itself!
St. Monica School students also participate in a variety of co-curricular activities such as our sports program, piano lessons, and an after school Chinese Language Program, in both Cantonese and Mandarin. The school also provides a low-cost Extended Care program from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. daily.
Please contact the school office for further information regarding any of our programs, or for information pertaining to the application process. Thank you for your interest in St. Monica School. We look forward to serving you further.
