Dear Goodman Waves Families - Earlier this week, two West Side Pool families had hate mail directed at them, which made derogatory and racist references. The All-City Swim and Dive League condemns these hateful acts. There is no place in the League for hateful words or actions directed at any swimmers, families, or anyone else. The League is dedicated to promoting a swimming and diving environment where all swimmers and families feel valued, safe, and able to thrive. The League welcomes anyone to our pools, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, ability, or sexual orientation. The Goodman Waves Swim and Dive Team is in complete agreement with the All-City Swim and Dive League and will not tolerate acts or messages of hate. The situation is currently being handled by the Fitchburg Police. If you have any information, please contact them. First day of practice was A W E S O M E! TOMORROW get ready for the MOCK MEET & BAGELS Saturday, June 11 8:00 - 10:00am Swimmers will get the feel of what a swim meet is like and parents will get a tour of a home swim meet. Very educational BUT very fun too! Bagels! Did someone say bagels?! Following the mock meet, we'll give the kids a chance to re-fuel and eat some bagels. GOOO WAVES!
