St. Mark’s Day School will be closed this Friday in honor of Good Friday. Be sure to get your registration applications in so your child will be assured a spot for summer and the 2018/2019 school year.

Registration begins today for the Summer Program and the Fall school year for currently enrolled children. You can register for both or just summer or just fall. Check your child’s backpack for information. Call with any questions. St. Mark’s will be closed for Spring Break March 19 through 23. We will also be closed Friday, March 30 for Good Friday.

Looking at the weather, we will be under a winter weather advisory from 6:00 pm tonight until 6:00 am tomorrow. If Jonesboro Public Schools close then we will also be closed. We will open at regular hours regardless of any area schools delaying their opening in the morning.

Jonesboro Public Schools just posted that school will be open tomorrow! St. Mark’s will be open also! See everyone in the morning!

Christmas break has officially begun! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from St. Mark’s Day School! We will see everyone back January 2, 2018.

This is the last week of school before the Christmas break. The children are excited about celebrating Christmas with their friends. Don’t forget we are taking donations for the Humane Society for our furry friends. Thanks Mrs. Angela for spearheading this project!

This beautiful 11 x 20 painting on canvas is called St. Mark’s “Through the Eyes of a Child”. It was created and donated by Sheila Guinn. This painting is being offered by silent auction. You can bid in person or text your bid and it will be added to the bid sheet. Opening bid is $100.00 and will increase by increments of $20.00. Current bid is $120.00. Deadline to bid is Thursday, December 7th by 6:00pm. The winning bid can have their child’s picture added to the painting. Painting can be viewed now in the main foyer of the church and during the Advent Bizarre event Sunday, December 3rd from 11:30 to 1:30. Proceeds will benefit the Playground Resurfacing Fund.

The staff and teachers wish all our St. Mark’s families and friends a very Happy Thanksgiving! School will be closed Wednesday through Friday, November 22nd through 24th. We will see everyone back on Monday, November 27th.
