We are looking to add another registered/licensed massage therapist. Qualified applicants must be currently registered with the State of Colorado and maintain liability insurance. This is an independent contractor position, so therapists are expected to operate under their own registered business name, and exclusivity to The Massage Store is not expected nor desired. Our clientele is typically looking for therapeutic sessions, treating chronic injuries, pain, etc, so our focus is on massage, and we do not provide services like hair, nails, facials, etc. Our therapists must be able to work within a variety of modalities. Specialized areas such as prenatal, hot stone, lymphatic drainage, sciatica treatment, medical massage, and rotator cuff release are desired, but not required. The Massage Store is a locally owned business, founded in 2006. We are looking for a receptionist / front desk person to work Friday and Saturday each week, 9am - 5:15pm. The position includes answering phones, booking appointments, retail sales, cash handling, filing, interacting with clients, laundry, some cleaning, and more. The ideal person is detail oriented, has excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, able to work on their own, multi-task, a quick learner, honest and reliable - but also has the ability to use their own discretion, in line with our values and previous guidance, to problem solve. We are not looking for someone who can just do as they are told, but someone who can think for themselves, and take initiative to get stuff done.
