facebook.comYesterday we picked Meret up from her former owner who adopted her as a therapy dog almost a year ago. He is being deployed overseas and had to make the tough decision to relinquish Meret back to us so that we can find her another family. Meret is one of Layla's beautiful pups, with one trademark blue eye she got from mama. She and 6 of her littermates survived parvo when they were just a few weeks old. She is now almost 15 months old, healthy & gorgeous as ever. She is an American Bulldog mix but on the petite side, approximately about 25-30 lbs. She loves other dogs and adores kids. We will be working on fattening her up a bit and she will be getting a full check-up from our vet on Monday. If you are interested in meeting Meret, please email us or submit an application from our website. 🔹 contact: gracelandanimalrescue@gmail.com 🔸 web: www.gracelandanimalrescue.org 🔹 donate: paypal.me/graceland
Willow has come a long way in just a few weeks. She has learned how to trust people again, play with all kinds & sizes of dogs and has also put on some healthy weight. Tomorrow morning we take her to meet a potential adopter that has been hoping to meet Willow since the first day she was rescued. We will miss having Willow around here, especially our little man Bubba who has been crushing on Willow 💞 Wish her luck!
Oliver Update! Oliver had his neuter surgery and consult with a hip specialist last Friday. After examining his x-rays, the consensus remains that Dasuquin treatment will be the best way to manage his hip dysplasia. While in the care of his potential adopters, Oliver has healed beautifully from surgery and started the Dasuquin regimen. His hopeful adopters say he seems to be feeling better already and he is even getting around with more ease. We are grateful to the Hartmann family for giving him a loving and safe place to recoup. And many thanks to the Vet Staff at All Pets Center for your guidance and help with Oliver. 🔹 contact: gracelandanimalrescue@gmail.com 🔸 web: www.gracelandanimalrescue.org 🔹 donate: paypal.me/graceland

We took Dodger to his foster home last week and he is having a great time! He has made 2 canine friends and follows his foster mom around everywhere. He seems to really be coming out of his shell and taking it all in. AND he has an adoption meet later this week 😊yay!

Just dropped off Oliver at All Pets Center for his neuter surgery. I think he thought we were going to the dog park (sad trombone). Ollie will also be seeing a specialist this afternoon in regard to his hip issues. We are hopeful that surgery is not necessary and that we can treat and maintain his hip health with a Dasuquin regimen. So far, that has been the consensus. We will keep you posted! 🔹 contact: gracelandanimalrescue@gmail.com 🔸 web: www.gracelandanimalrescue.org 🔹 donate: paypal.me/graceland
