Welcome to the best dancing that downtown Chico has to offer. We specialize in many types of partner dance and in creating a great social atmosphere.  
First and foremost dance is fun! That is the reason most people go through life wishing they knew how to dance and experience the music they love through movement. Downtown Dance, Chico is a studio that is committed to excellence in dance while making it fun. We have some of the most accomplished partner dancers and teachers in Northern California, and have a wealth of experience working within the greater Chico community. TUESDAYS

6:30pm-8:30pm;  West Coast Swing Lab ft. Megan Grandfield
Become one of the top WCS social and competitive dancers around through this weekly swing technique intensive.

8:30-9:30pm Blues Fusion Lesson Taught by Jesse Smith before heading to the Banchee for a night of social dancing.

WESTIE WEDNESDAYS

5:30pm; Doors Open-Let’s hang out & Practice!
6pm-6:45pm; Advanced Swing Concepts
Advanced West Coast Swing taught strictly through concept based teaching.
6:45pm-7:30pm; Next Level Patterns & Styling
Take your West Coast Swing to the next level by increasing your pattern, styling and technical knowledge.
7:30pm-8pm; FUNdamentals of Swing

Begin your West Coast Swing journey with the essential building blocks of the dance.
8pm-11pm; Downtown Swings
Take what you’ve learned and have a ton of fun meeting new people and swinging the night away.

THURSDAYS

6pm-7pm Latin Club Style
This class will rotate between Zouk, Kizomba, and Bachata from month to month.
7pm-8pm; Salsa I
Completely new to salsa or need to freshen up your basics? This is the class for you.
7pm-8pm; Salsa II
Here we turn the heat up on our rhythm and basics.
8pm-10pm; Downtown Latin Heat
Set the floor on fire dancing to the latest Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Zouk & Kizomba

Come join us for West Coast Swing every 2nd Saturday of the Month!
Check out Downtown Dance for the first time and get in FREE to the lesson & dance!
Bring a friend who has never been to Downtown Dance for the lesson & dance & you BOTH get in FREE! This event is geared towards getting new people into our community, showing them a side of Downtown Chico they didn’t know existed and hopefully…. hooked!

7pm-8pm; Future Swing
This is an advanced class taught by some of the brightest up and coming dancers and teachers Chico has to offer.
8pm-9pm; BYOB Beginning Lesson West Coast Swing
Bring Your Own Beginner to this lesson and both of you will receive a free night of some of the best dancing around.
