Tucked Tuesday in our Can Am Maverick XDS Turbo at the Parker 250 this past weekend
The Maverick was very fast until the broken rear headpipe took us out of the race completely. We made it 3/4 of the way through the race with great position and speed till it completely broke and left exhaust shooting directly onto the fuel cell. With our 2 seat chassis being very compact it left almost no way get get into it without removing the fuel cell buried in the chassis. This car is very fast and handles great, a couple minor tweaks and a newly designed exhaust and we'll be ready for the UTV World Championship. Thanks to everyone cheering us on, it's not what we hoped for but we'll come back more prepared than ever for the next race.
Lap one complete. The car came in within the top 10 and improved on position. We have an exhaust leak pre turbo that has us down on power but otherwise it's going well and the car is running well. The first 80 miles are done, 160 to go.
