A page dedicated to the work of one man, his life and love of a motorcycle - The Triumph Trident 750! Formed out of desperation, exasperation and undue ammounts of perspiration, 3D Motorcycles is the result of a "love affair" with a single motorcycle marque.
A labour of love and a life of blowups, breakdowns, falling off, racing and repairing a 750cc Triumph Trident has taught proprietor Richard Darby how to correctly repair, update and rebuild these prestigious British Classics into bikes that are unbelievably reliable, unusually oil tight, smooth to ride and above all, better than when they came out of the factory new!
Richard has met and now knows all the people worth knowing, no doubt some he would probably not like to give the time of day to, in a 25 year plus relationship with these motorcycles. He has ridden all over Europe on them, exhibited all over Europe with them, and raced...yes, all over Europe on his own remarkable Rob North 750cc Works Replica Triumph Trident. He has even won a championship in the 1000cc class and but for an accident the following year would have done the double!
Richard is well known in the UK for his passion of these superb motorcycles and to this end he is now about to take on the might and prestige of the Isle of Man Manx Grand Prix!
