We've had a little bit of fun with the frosting on the cupcakes today. Really pleased with how these have turned out, would love to say first attempt but that wouldn't be right now would it? 😉😉 Tomorrow we'll have these little treats, fruit loaf, carrot cake, creme egg brownies and of course our signature buttermilk scones. Well today marked another milestone in the Teapod history books! Those of you that have been in over the last few weeks will already be aware but Carol (and Nick) hung up their aprons in February for the last time whilst they look at plans for the future. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the both of them for all their hard work, tasty cakes and hospitality they have offered during their time at 195 Warrington Road, you will both be truly missed! We really do hope all goes to plan for you both. Ben and Alison

Phew what a busy day, finishing with a total of 19 afternoon teas and plenty of people taking advantage of the new menu from opening time. Looks like our portions were a bit on the generous side (and so they should be!) Not to worry you can always take what you don't finish home!
