I help people overcome anxiety and reduce stress.  My page describes some of the therapies I provide together with links and snippets of advice and guidance that help improve emotional well being. I work from my home in Telford and from a clinic in Sutton Coldfield. I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist  in 2012 and I have also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psyco Sensory Therapy, Mindfulness and NLP.  

My previous work life experience has been broad including teacher, college manager and therapeutic foster mother.

I have always been passionate about helping people and gain great satisfaction from empowering people to help themselves to overcome emotional barriers that get in the way of living a full and meaningful life.

Together I can help you develop the skills that will enable you to deal with:

I am finding more and more that ACT is a powerful and life changing therapy for many people experiencing many different difficulties. It enables us to understand how our mind is trying to protect us when it sometimes says things to us that we find difficult to deal with. Interesting article about the importance of nutrients for our mental health. We all seem to understand the effect eating certain ‘bad’ foods has on our body by increasing weight, higher cholesterol etc creating risk of numerous bodily illnesses - increased risk of heart problems, diabetes etc etc. Yet we hear less about the effect poor nutrition has on our brains! My mum has Alzheimer’s and her diet is not the best so happy to try anything that may help. So after reading this I’m off to the health shop for zinc, magnesium, omega 3, vitamin b, vitamin D3 and pro biotics - just hope that by the time she has taken all of those she wont be to full to eat proper food!
