Description
Monthly farmers market with 70+ local & artisan food/craft stalls at Rode Hall plus tea room, live music & children's activities. Great for all the family. Rode Hall Farmers Market takes place on the first Saturday of every month, exc January. There are over 70 stalls of local, organic food and crafts. There is a huge array of food from rare breed meat, local veg, artisan cheese, pies, puddings, international cuisine, cakes and much more. All under cover - great whatever the weather!
We also now have beautiful craft stalls in the barns and the tea rooms are open serving homemade cakes, light lunches and refreshments. It is also a wonderful opportunity to have a walk around the gardens.
Craft activities for children have included carving pumpkins, making scarecrows, decorating biscuits, creating mobiles, face painting and more.
There is also live entertainment and guests have included Len and his Accordion, Bob Bennet, The Lions Youth Brass Band, Philip Maddock, the Black Dog Molly Dancers and the Leopard-Spot Clog Dancers!
It's a great day out for the whole family!

A big thank you to all our stalwart stallholders and shoppers who braved it to support the market today ! In the end the sun shone and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere partly due to the talented jazz player Alex Clarke who stuck at it the entire morning!
Getting ready for our market tomorrow! Frozen & burst pipes fixed, snow cleared and soups being made , plenty of wood in for the log burner too !

Welcome the joys of Spring with a visit to the farmers' market and the final weekend of our Snowdrop Walks! The barns will be brimming with homemade crafts, artisan foods and gifts for Easter. Live entertainment and Spring children's activity. Tearooms open serving hot food, homemade cakes and refreshments. Gardens open for Snowdrop Walks until 4pm

Stallholders, Shopping, Soup and Snowdrops at the Farmers Market this Saturday 3rd Feb 9 - 1.30 ! Dawson Dean will be playing live and there will be a children's activity.. We welcome Bay Tree Fudge and Georgina Payne with her sublime lemon curd .. The Craft Barn is open and the Tea Room too and there will be hot soup and cider. We recommend that if you are just coming to the Snowdrop walk that you come after 12 as the morning is very busy with the market. See you there !
