We're pleased to announce that we are once again teaming up with The Waiting Room for our Walled Garden Feast. Sample a variety of tasty dishes created by the talented chefs at The Waiting Room restaurant in Eaglescliffe, made from our heritage produce. Make the most of the last Bank Holiday (until Christmas!!), we've got lots to keep you busy! Visit our Teesside Seaside, pop-up beach and meet pirates and mermaids. On Sunday meet Channel 5's Police Interceptors and have a go sitting in a police car. On Monday get creative with our Art Cart! All activities are free with entry to the museum. Then if your little ones still have some energy to burn, why not let off some steam in the Adventure Playground?!
We're looking forward to the arrival of our guest speaker from The National Gallery London, Dr Francesca Whitlum-Cooper. 'The Life and Work of Georges De La Tour' talk will start at 3.30pm today (doors open from 3pm), in our Music Room. FREE. There will be a small charge for refreshments.
