I think we are getting there, it’s all starting to come together now

Today's the day....

The sign is up on the new shop

Tomorrow is our last day of trading at the shop on Charnwood Road, we have been trading from this shop for 91/2 years, so many ups and downs, during that time I have met a lot of lovely people many of them I now class as friends. We have changed course along the way, starting as a gift shop then slowly moving into repurposing furniture and making cushions to put in the shop to teaching people to sew to what we have today, a small business that serves the local community and communities further afield with a range of beautiful fabrics, gorgeous yarns and a wide range of haberdashery. So we are off to a new shop were we will continue along the path we have chosen to advise and serve our customers to the best of our abilities So I want to Thank all of those people who have supported me through both the good and bad times and I hope to see you all on the other side

Today we have reached the target of hats knitted or crocheted, THANK YOU to you all, we now have 127 hats to donate to local hospitals but Please, Please carry on the hospitals will always need them

Well we are on countdown now, just over 2 weeks until we open the new shop 😀I am so excited !!! The sale is still on although the wool is selling really well and a lot of the fabric has sold out We close on Saturday 24th and we open in the new shop on 3rd September

Hiya, sorry I have been absent, lots going on behind the scenes getting ready for the move to the new shop. The sale continues and I will be adding new bits to it, if you like the look of something then ask, you never know you may get it reduced

Once we have moved to the new shop we are planning to slightly alter our opening hours We shall be open Monday 9.30 to 4pm Tuesday 9.30to 4pm Wednesday 9.30 to 1pm Thursday 9.30 to 4pm Friday 9.30 to 4pm Saturday 9.30 to 2pm We hope this will be easier for everyone Don't forget our moving sale is on now
