Noise reduction with new windows is sometimes as important as the energy rating. Is Triple glazing the best option? Not always; acoustic glazing ( using 6.8 acoustic laminate and 4mm glass) in the unit will reduce the sound more than triple glazing. Triple glazing will give best results if the room is cold and sound reduction is required, it's all down to the results you require.
