QUASQUICENTENNIAL LADIES CUP Great day today missing the showers for the first annual competition for the ladies celebrating 125 years of ALTC. 16 great competitors in two box leagues. A championship tie break from the top two pairs tied in the green group set the tone for a very close final between Lisa Edwards & Cathy Walsh v Judith Hill & Kate Taylor. Well done to Lisa & Cathy who lifted the brand new engraved silver cup. Prosecco and canapés to celebrate followed by a lovely lunch prepared by Tony. Thanks to all the lovely lady participants you made it so worthwhile organising it.

They took it totally to the wire with a great standard of tennis right to the end. In the third set Championship tie break Matt Blackburn finally got the edge over Jack Buckles to become our 2017 Mens Champion. Well done Matt and thanks to both guys for a great display of tennis and sportsmanship.
