Today i read that smear tests are at a record low. This is something that could save your life and some ladies just arent going for them for many reasons. And what ever your reasons, your health should always be more important. Smear tests are there to detect the early signs of cervical cancer, the earlier you catch cancer the more likely you’ll make a better recovery. Women aged 25-49 should have a smear test every 3 years, aged 50 to 64 – every 5 years over 65 – only women who haven't been screened since age 50 or those who have recently had abnormal tests. Yeah it’s a bit awkward but it’s fucking vital to your health. And we all have the same bits and pieces ladies so there is nothing to be embarrassed about! This morning I read a post from a salon who are offering free facials for every lady who can show they have been for a smear test. So I've decided to jump on the band wagon and inspire more women to go get checked! So as an incentive I'm offering a £20 voucher to all ladies who can show me they've gone and got them selves checked over from today.
