The Carlisle Bookshop is delighted to welcome Donal McAnallen to sign copies of his book 'The Pursuit of Perfection - the Life, Death and Legacy of Cormac McAnallen' tomorrow, SATURDAY 30th Sept, from 12 noon - 2pm. In 2001 Cormac was voted Young footballer of the year. In 2003 he helped Tyrone to it's first-ever All-Ireland championship win but in March 2004 Cormac died suddenly of an undetected heart condition. His brother, Donal, writes a remarkable story of Cormac's pursuit of perfection. Everyone is welcome to call in for a chat with Donal! Delighted to be stocking THE BLOSSOM OR THE BOLE by PHEME GLASS...just launched last night and so selling this morning at £10. Her first fictional book after her very successful poetry book, SEEDS OF MEMORY, which is also in stock.
Carlisle Bookshop will close on Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday but open again 8.30am on Wednesday. Wishing all our Customers a Happy Easter :-)
