Get into Golf
On Sunday 19th March Carlton Forum Leisure Centre is hosting an event that celebrates the Girls Make It Happen year 1 anniversary, as well as International Women's Day. Along with other local sports clubs, Mapperley Golf Club will have a stand in the sports hall from 2pm to 4pm where you can talk to some of our lady members about the opportunities for Women and Girls to play golf at Mapperley – and you can have a go at swinging a golf club or chipping golf balls into a net. We are also arranging a series of golf taster sessions at Mapperley (see the photo).
