OUR VEHICLES... We run a selection of luxury vehicles with the aim of providing the individual service to fit each pet owners wishes and budget. We are always available to talk to the pet owners at this difficult time and offer advice. Our vehicles include: Volkswagen Caddy (ANT 42A) – A multi-purpose vehicle used for large to extra-large pets. The vehicle contains wicker coffins of the appropriate sizes Citroen Belingo (R1P XC) – A multi-purpose vehicle complete with an oak coffin. We generally use this vehicle for exhumations. Peugeot Bipper (R1P XA) – A multi-purpose vehicle used for smaller pets. This vehicle contains a light oak traditional coffin. Mercedes Citan (R1P XX) – A wheelchair friendly multi-purpose vehicle complete with ramp access used for large pets. Ford Cardinal Hearse (R1P XL) – Offering the traditional style funeral for your beloved pet. Giving the owner the option to follow in a cortege. Pets can be respectfully collected from your home or veterinary surgery. Sometimes we use blankets provided by the owners or our own stretchers. Your pet will be placed into a coffin inside the vehicle for transportation to the crematorium. We are happy to take flowers and mementoes along with your pet. Our aim is to provide a dignified caring service. Pets are always collected and transported individually. We do not use vans or outside collection agencies. We are happy to collect from all areas and we have looked after pets from all over the UK. Our aim is to provide the best, bespoke service which meets the wishes of the owner, giving each and every beloved pet an individual service and fitting send off. As members of the APPCC we are the only inspected and accredited crematorium in this area. The Association recommends that pet owners take time to ask their vets how their pets are looked after. The vets have a duty of care and they should be willing to offer a variety of options following bereavement. We are always happy to talk through the options available.

A TRIBUTE TO DAISY MAY We received this lovely tribute from the owners of Daisy May, a 4 year old chihuahua: "Thank you so much for the best and most beautiful send off given to our beautiful little girl, Daisy May. We could not have wished for a more fitting tribute. Daisy would of been so proud of you, and all the lovely kind people, who helped to give her a beautiful farewell. Daisy May was our world and will be in our hearts forever. We love you millions and always will. We have planted a blossom tree and made a memory table at our home. We also created a personalised photo album full of happy reminders of our time with Daisy May. Thank you for everything and the little seed from your memory tree, which has been planted in memory of Daisy May. Lots of Love Kimberley and Richard Pullen x (Daisy May's mummy and daddy)"

We are pleased to announce that our new fabulous luxury reception room has just opened in West Bridgford. The Rainbow Room is themed to provide a serene, relaxing environment where pet owners can talk about their loss and explain their personal requirements for their beloved pet. Owner Rita Harbury-Carlisle explains: "The Rainbow Bridge poem suggests that when an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes over Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. Our aim is to follow this sentiment and give comfort to the owners at this difficult time". The new room is much larger than previous spaces at the crematorium. Rita said: "We get family groups and people like friends to accompany them. This room can cater for larger numbers without people feeling uncomfortable. It is a lovely area and people can wait here while the pet is prepared for a final viewing. We really try to give everyone the individual service they require. We try to talk through all the options and it gives everyone a relaxing environment to make decisions about the type of casket required, music for the service and other important personal details". We have been serving the community for 25 years. Pet lover Rita and her husband John are assisted by manager Simon. We have a fleet of vehicles including a traditional hearse. Rita added: "We understand this is a difficult time for the pet owners. We want to treat their family friend with upmost respect and give them the send of their owner wishes. Every pet deserves a dignified send off, all pets are very much a member of the family". The Rainbow Bridge Poem below, was written by an unknown author. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge . When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... https://www.nottingham-pet-crematorium.com/
