The McTimoney technique is a whole body treatment that uses quick and gentle adjustments to treat misaligned joints throughout the spinal column and pelvis in order to restore optimal movement and functionality. The technique is readily accepted by most animals and combined with stretches and an individually tailored exercise programme, optimal health and performance can be restored. Seeking treatment may be advised if your dog is showing signs such as stiffness or pain following exercise, discomfort when being stroked, difficulty climbing up and down stairs or getting in/out of the car or lameness that has not been resolved following veterinary treatment. Horses may show signs such as sore or cold backs or saddles slipping to one side, unexplained resistance to working or a particular exercise such as jumping, unexplained deterioration in performance or a change in behaviour such as bucking or napping. Having both yourself and your horse treated around the same time can help you both feel much straighter when riding and will increase overall mobility and reduce any tightness throughout the muscles. Happy to announce a new sponsored rider this season, Claud and her rides Jason and Buz. Claud and Jason have already begun their eventing season with some great outings at Novice level and Buz is learning the ropes of the lower levels but has had to overcome quite a few stumbling blocks along the way with some injuries. Claud has both of her horses treated regularly to keep them balanced, supple and moving at their best. I will post regular updates throughout the season as to how they are getting on.
