What a week we have had here at Neric Equestrian. Very worrying time as king was referred to Rossdales on Monday and it was discovered after his MRI scan that old bone fragments where found between his fetlock joint. After having long keyhole surgery yesterday, all bone fragments were successfully removed and is currently recovering well. Thank you to everyone who has sent all the kind messages/gifts and to everyone who’s been helping me out on the yard this week. Looking forward to getting the boy home for his recovery 🐎

Finally back out eventing at Great Witchingham International Horse Trails after a very long winter and many cancellations of events at the start of the season! Super day with King who was in the BE100 open section. Was a little fresh dressage in a high scoring section but contained his excitement to be in the top ten. This was then followed up by a great double clear and in side the time to finish 4th! Very excited for what’s to come this season with this special chap! Big thank you to all supporters and helpers today both at witchingham and at home to make it all happen. Also thank you to Tony Denton for capturing us out on the XC this afternoon. Finally thanks as always to the mother for being no.1 groom and all round top supporter of myself. Good few days training leading up to Lincolnshire this weekend! Good jump session with Emily Lochore up at Burnham Market on Monday working on some very technical lines and distances. Last night we then popped to Easton College for pre season eventing dressage where the boy produced a double win in the BE107 test and the N130 test!
