facebook.com5.5 weeks – 12.3lb weight difference (2.23lb) per week! 💥 Here’s 5.5 weeks worth of progress, from left to right. The idea is to have weigh-ins every 4 weeks but with it being close to Christmas at the time we agreed on taking photos a little earlier. I gave @_jess the right to relax and indulge over the holidays if she wanted to, and rightly so! During this period we quickly worked on getting the basics right when it came to nutrition. Finding and creating time to plan & prep meals in advance while applying this into her new routine. We considered her occupation flexibility in terms of breaks etc, and when and what to eat to get rapid results! We achieved these results together with daily conversations, jess doing her own thing in the gym and one PT session per week (combo of weights & cardio) 🎯 8th dec – (1st) 168.7lb 23rd dec – (2nd) 159lb 17th jan – (3rd) 156.4lb More progress in the making 💪
Over the course of the winter, up until the end of December I’ve been lifting heavy workloads on the gym floor. Now that I’ve turned my attention towards boxing I’ve wanted to loosen up my ‘shock absorbs’ to help stay light on my feet. FB: ‘Barry Latimer - sports therapist’ is my go to man in cases like this, taking good care of my IT bands (iliotibial) the part of the leg that absorbs impact when jumping etc. Hopefully I’ll be moving like a butterfly soon 🥊 Who knows.. 👊

Ever trained through a Plateau before?.. I used resistance bands as one method to working around the issue. There can be numerous factors why you may fall into a plateau and become stagnant with your training, whether its caused in or outside of the gym or even a bit of both. Factors like nutrition/ T.D.C.C/ sleeping pattern/ the number of hours you sleep, how often you train & your style of training while working out all has to be considered when looking to overcome the problem. I talk a little bit about how I’m currently training through one, which is inevitable really when I have 2 goals in mind that requires 2 different styles of training and nutrition protocols. Just so you are aware Plateaus only really occur with individuals who regularly workout due to their bodies already somewhat adapted to the pressure they are putting it under. If you’re new to exercise and been training for 1 year or less this shouldn’t affect you at all and you should be able to make steady progress within that time with the right nutrition and training programme.
Feeling the xmas vibe a little more with this half a tree now up and the parents being back home🎄 Hats on all week 🎅🏻

Reminiscing.. 💭thinking about why I didn't move away from that place earlier than I did 😂 #TimingIsEverything! Looking forward to next year. Bish, bash, ⏳
Start your week well by getting to the gym tomorrow.. ✅ chances are you’ve had your weekend cheat meal, or even sitting indulging in it now! 'Tis the season where we are all likely to put weight on, so don’t deny it to yourself by pretending you’ve had a good week training and eating well because the chances are you haven’t. Be honest with yourself and accept that you’ve been a little naughty with the calorie overload. Don’t get yourself worked up about it, as long as you’re still training right into the new year then you’re doing well. After the new year that’s when you can start to really dial your calorie consumption back down and focus more on your diet. #NewYearResolution?!?
Zero pump and not a single digit in difference from my last weigh in 4 weeks ago! I'm trying to put weight on here! Right, that's it, where's the soreen at?!? 🍞🍞🍞 Bothered? A little bit.. Surprised? Not at all. Enjoying training? Absolutely. Boxing tonight? Of course! Take home notes: if you're wanting to put weight on stay away from cardio kids! 🥊
