Customer reported his desktop PC was switching off while in use. First thing to check is the cooling system & found heatsink completely blocked with dust. Please do not attempt to clean this with a vacuum cleaner. The heatsink should be removed from the motherboard, cleaned and refastened with thermal paste

Been receiving a lot of these unwanted upgrades lately. I would recommend disabling the upgrade if you want to stick with your current operating system.

Laptop or PC overheating or switching off in use. A customer was about to bin his laptop due to it switching off in, called Mikespcrepairs and now has a perfectly functional laptop. The only solution is to strip, service and reassemble, trying to cool a laptop by using an external fan will not help you. Neither will using a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer - some other suggestions from customers.
