Red Watch have been working alongside the crew from Tipton today to cut a female out of a vehicle after it was involved in a collision with a lorry near junction 10 of the M6. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

A busy Saturday for Blue Watch who have been taking part in a brigade exercise today focusing on Hazardous Materials. Our realistic exercises allow us to learn and develop should we ever need to put these skills to the test at a real incident.

This is the aftermath of a bedroom fire Bilston & Willenhall attended this week. Unfortunately everything in it was destroyed or badly damaged. Thankfully we were able to intervene with our breathing apparatus teams in time to contain the fire to one room. No one was injured. Tested your smoke alarm this week? Do it before it's too late. Darkhouse Lane is now open after we were assisted by Network Rail to clear a trapped HGV.

We are currently assisting a lorry driver who's HGV has become wedged under a railway bridge. Darkhouse Lane will be closed until further notice.
