Yesterday in the Bailgate Studio we were busy with Japanese Book Binding. The workshop was run by Paul ( Nyudo Japanese Book Binding). It was a pure joy to look at all these beautiful Japanese papers! Everyone made two books and we finished with amazing sushi from LincSushi. Thank you everyone for coming!

Hi:-) would you like to learn how to draw? I am planning regular 4-6 weeks (2 hours session - 15 Pounds pp) courses (basic drawing skills, knowing materials, basic techniques) but before you decide you are ready for it you can try a free session and I will show you how this course will look like. All materials, hot drinks provided. Beginners are welcome;-) Booking is essential.

Hi:-)I am thinking about workshops for April and would like to ask if you would like to try any of workshops I've done since January: Card Making, Painting on Cotton Bags, Folk Paper Cutting, Japanese Brush Painting+Sushi (you can find photos from these workshop in the Photos section). I am planning as well to do a testing session for drawing (for beginners) - later I would like to offer 4-6 weeks classes. I would love to run classes to teach about illustration - would you be interested ( all levels- very happy to start a course for beginners). Any thoughts:-)? maybe there is something else you would like try? Please let me know, all comments will be very helpful;-)

By any chance someone still would like to have fun with making Easter decorations;-)? I can organise another workshop on 24th of March (Saturday) 11a.m- 2p.m or on some weekday before Easter. Please let me know if you are interested;-)

It was snow outside but we were preparing decorations for Easter;-) I know that I say it again and again..but it's true - I was amazed by beautiful stuff made during this Easter Workshop;-)

Three places left for the Easter Workshop this Sunday;-)

During this workshop we will make Easter Decorations (two Easter Wreaths and some smaller decorations for table). The price is 25Pounds per person - all materials, hot drinks and chocolate;-) included. You can bring your own wine/beer. I will offer plenty of interesting materials to create your very special decorations. The small pieces for table will be ideal as presents for your friends and family;-)

I still have prints (screen printing, limited edition of 25 - each) for sale;-) The price is 25 Pounds for the unframed print. Prints are standard size (30x30cm, 40x30cm, plus mount) so it's easy and not expensive to frame them. You can always pop in to the Studio for a coffee and see it before you make a decision;-) If you prefer to buy a framed print the price would be 37( smaller) and 40(bigger).

Happy Mother's Day! Today I was celebrating with a group of mums and daughters in the Bailgate Studio;-) They have made amazing bags;-)
