NW6 LONDON-We were back in the big city yesterday moving a lovely teacher and artist to Ipswich and in the words of Bob Marley the sun was definitely shining, our customer kindly commented on how fun we made the moving experience, and there was a street loading bay just for us! HOW MUCH!!! Disposal costs can often come as a shock, legal/licenced waste carriers are likely to dispose of your waste at one of Suffolk's FCC Environment recycling centres, illegal carriers will give you a cheap cash deal but you will more than likely see your waste in the nearest lay by, disposal cost's vary and disposal costs are not carrier costs, the carrier makes £0 from disposal costs and receives paperwork to show they have been paid so the carrier will also add their own costs/rates but it is down to you as a customer to pay disposal costs and also make sure you are using a licenced waste carrier which is easily checkable online! Although disposal costs can come as a shock remember a large skip can cost around £270/300+ to have at your property and fill, you may need permissions for it and it could be there for a few weeks so in comparison for a team to come, load your waste, travel and unload at an FCC site it isn't actually that much :) @moveitclearitfinditstoreit-got a question about waste disposal? NO LICENCE-DEAL OR NO DEAL? We were in Claydon today performing a house clearance in preparation for sale, we are renewing our waste carrier licence this month after three years, it only costs £150 for three years, there is no reason why anyone removing waste for reward should not have one, you can check the register once a carrier has given you their number, it must be theirs, not their mates or their brother in laws (yes, we have heard both of these more than once!) unless they are an employee of that company of course, with customers having to pay a fine if they don't show due diligence is it worth it, no licence - deal or no deal?
