How do I prepare for my VersaSpa Session? Come showered, shaven, free of make-up, body sprays, oil, deodorant and moisturizer for best results. Wear dark, loose fitting clothes for after your session. 2. Should I moisturize before I VersaSpa? It is NOT recommended to apply any type of moisturizer 3 hours prior to your spray and 6 hours after for best results. A moisturizer applied prior to your session could interfere with the reaction of DHA with your skin, applying a moisturizer after your session could cause streaking of the tan. 3. How long should I wait after my session before I shower? It's best to wait 6-8 hours after your session before showering to give the DHA time to develop. For maximum results it’s recommended to not shower until the next day to get full development of your session. 4. Will the VersaSpa turn me orange? NO, the Versa will leave you with a beautiful, natural bronze glow. 5. How long will my VersaSpa spray tan last? There are many different factors that contribute to the length of the spray tan. One being the skins natural exfoliation process, also on how well you followed the before and after steps. Usually, a sunless tan will last 5-7 days all skins types are different and some may fade faster. 6. How long does the session take? The entire process takes approximately 10 minutes, the spray alone depending on the combination you can will take 1-3 minutes. 7. How soon after my session will I see results? You will begin to see results around 4-6 hour mark, the solution will continue to develop up to 12-24 hours after your session. However when you feel that it’s reached the color you want you can rinse off to stop the development of the solution. 8. Can I use it when I’m pregnant? Yes, the VersaSpa is perfectly safe for pregnant women to use! 9. What are the prep and moisturizing sprays? Do I need them? The prep spray is a solution that is sprayed onto your body prior to the bronzing solutions, its purpose is to even out your skin and prepares your skin to absorb as much of the bronzing solution as possible. The moisturizer is another solution sprayed onto your body following the bronzing solution, it helps preserve and prolong the length of your spray tan. 10. Can I VersaSpa in addition to tan? Definitely, results from the spray are phenomenal over a base tan. If you would like to combine both sessions in one visit try out our stand up tanning booth to achieve the best results. Also, avoid applying any tanning lotions that may conflict with the development of the solution. 11. Is the solution safe for sensitive skin? Yes, the solution is 70% natural comprising of a sugar cane derivative, which is responsible for your glorious color. The VersaSpa is recommended for all skin types. 12. Does the spray tan fade naturally? Yes, the spray tan fades naturally, it does not fade in patches and look blotch like some spray tan systems. 13. Will shaving affect my spray tan? Shaving will affect the spray tan, it causes expedited exfoliation of your skin which will cause your spray tan to be removed quicker. We recommend you shave and exfoliate immediately prior to your session to prolong the tan. 14. How long before my event should I do my VersaSpa session? We recommend coming the day before you event to receive your session. 15. Will I get an even all around color? VersaSpa is designed to copy a natural tan you would get if you were at the beach. With that the only part of your body that will not get sprayed is your underarms. 16. Can I do more than one in a day? The solution continues to develop for 12-24 hours after your session is complete. We recommend that you wait 48 hours between sessions if you wish to be darker. 17. Is it confusing? How do you know what to do? The first time you come in for you VersaSpa session one of the consultants will show you the machine and walk you through the steps for your session. Diagrams are also posted in the room illustration what to do, as well as a programed voice will talk you through each turn. 18. What do I wear in the booth? You can wear whatever you choose, or simply go nude during your session. 19. Do I have a choice of how dark I will be? We offer 4 levels for the VersaSpa. Level 1 is the lowest and will give you a sun kissed look. Level 4 will be the darkest leaving you with a deep rich bronze tan. Each skin type will react differently to each level. 20. Do I have to remove my makeup? Can I put makeup on afterwards? The spray can go through makeup but to get that perfect tan we recommend that you remove all makeup and have your session go on clean skin and wait 6 hours to apply any makeup.
