Description
Karen is a professional artist located in Aberdeenshire. Commissions and original art work is completed in oils or pastels of various subjects. Karen is an artist based in Aberdeenshire who uses inspiration from her local surroundings and further afield. Karen uses oils and pastels for her subjects consisting of wildlife, pets, landscapes, seascapes and portraits. Karen also takes on commission work and runs an art class in Inverurie.
Art Classes run every Wednesday from 6pm-9pm and are charged £15 per class.

Country Frames Gallery
My pastel paintings of horses and highland cow are now hanging in Country Frames Gallery winter exhibition along with lots of other artists works. Worth taking a trip out to see the many different styles, subjects and mediums displayed.

Opening day for 'The CFG Winter Show' - a fantastic collection of work from a wide range of artists including - Lucy Brydon, Lois Carson, Anne Fenton, Winifred Fergus, David Hawson, Jim Livingstone, Lesley McKenzie, Jane McMillan, Alison Milne, Tamsin Morrison, Janet Ollason, Roselyne O’Neill, Anne Rendall, Caroline Simmill, Letitia Smith-Burnett, Morag Stevenson, Karen Urquhart & Allison Wickes. Art Demonstration by Featured artist Jane Milloy. Special reductions on Christmas gifts. Mulled Wine, Spiced Apple Punch, Mince Pies & Shortbread being served throughout the afternoon.

Thats both my paintings finished for Country Frames Gallery winter exhibition. Currently being framed ready to hang. Will post photos of paintings once exhibition starts. Im now going to make a start on my commissions while i have some time spare as I have painted for 5 exhibitions this year. Has been great fun!
Last day of Neos. Had a super time speaking to people and artists. Was a fantastic group of exhibitors that i shared the room with to display our works of art. Thank you again to those who purchased art from me today and hope you enjoyed your day at our exhibition.
