Time to dust off that bike and get it out of the back shed. To get you started we've got some cycling activities in the park on Sunday 19th March. There will be a pump track, skills course, balance bikes and other bikes for folks of all ages to try. We'll have some bike check sessions for those who want to get their own bike health checked to see what needs to be done to make it safe and roadworthy. It's all part of the park's Smarter Choices, Smarter Places programme in association with Paths for All and Transport Scotland.

A busy day at the Hawick Museum yesterday with the nest box building and youth film project. A huge turnout and lots of creative construction. The nesting birds will be very thankful in a few weeks when they start settling in for the spring. Many thanks to Mike Fraser from the RSPB for a wonderful workshop.
