Cats Whiskers Rock'n'Roll Jive Club
Description
The Club started in January (2001), with the aim of allowing singles and couples to learn, dance and socialise in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hello and welcome to The Cat's Whiskers Jive Club.
The club meets on Monday evenings, entry is £6, at the East Grinstead Rugby Football Club. We aim to offer separate tuition for moves [6 count with backstep] for both beginners and intermediate dancers. Authentic jive/RnR/Swing music is provided by our own DJs. On occasion we have a live band either at the club or another venue.
If you are a beginner, then you can master the most difficult part...just by turning up. Even the most accomplished dancers were beginners at one time!!
