Description
This is a major new tourism and heritage project focussed on the TRIAX area which includes Waterloo Street and William Street We are currently delivering a major new tourism and heritage project focussed on the TRIAX area which includes the Bishop Street, Fountain (inc Carlisle Road), Bogside/Brandywell (inc William St/Waterloo St) and Creggan areas of the city. The project will be delivering a number of outputs including a new book on the history of Bishop Street/Fountain, new signage in the Bishop Street/Fountain area, a tourist map of the TRIAX area and a new app and website promoting all tourism related businesses in the TRIAX area.
Using social media will also help you to interact with existing or potential customers, promote your company and keeps you in close contact with the general public. The service also intends to create networks amongst all local businesses in the city centre, especially in retail areas such as Carlisle Road, William Street, Bishop Street and Waterloo Street which have not traditionally had the same level of business promotion compared to other areas of the city centre.
This is a project funded by the Office of First and Deputy First Minister (OFM DFM) and the Housing Executive with additional support by Derry City Council.
