Welcome all, My name is Rachael Harrison and I have been working in reflexology since 2007 when I completed several certificates and a diploma in reflexology from the Sheila Nugent school of reflexology. My areas of focus are foot reflexology covering cancer care, infertility, maternity care & hand reflexology. I have a special work and personal interest in ante / post natal maternity mental health.
What is reflexology?
Reflexology is an holistic approach to treat the whole person physically, mentally and emotionally to reduce pain and stress and identify and improve energy imbalance.
Reflexology is the practice of working on pressure points on the feet that correspond to parts of the body using varying degrees of pressure and specific hand and finger techniques. It covers all human systems; skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, endocrine (hormones), reproductive.
How can it help?
Reflexologists do not cure, diagnose or prescribe, however here are some of the benefits of reflexology:
*Induces state of deep relaxation.
*Improved sleep pattern.
*Stimulates blood and lymph flow, improving circulation helping the nervous system.
*Enhances well being and revitalises energy.
*Reverses the effects of stress.
*Cleanses the body of toxins
Who can benefit from reflexology?
Reflexology can be received by anyone at any age, from newborn babies to those receiving end of life care and anyone else in between.
It is used to treat mental and physical ailments such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks and anything linked with the skin, digestion, reproduction, hormones, neurology, urinary, respiratory, muscular and skeleton.
There are occasions when it is not suitable to provide a treatment and written consent is required from your GP, but call me to confirm this on 07707708845

On the 8th of March a new client had her first appointment at Culmore reflexology. Her reason for coming was fertility. Having been trying for some time, initial results highlighted low progesterone levels, no ovulation and a referral to Belfast. We began immediately with the castor oil packs and fertility massage, most of which was done at home on a regular basis, we looked at nutritional advice and diet changes, invested in supplements from the high street, My client took everything onboard. Reflexology treatments focused heavily on the reproductive reflexes and endocrine system and alot of relaxation to help with anxiety levels. I get a text this week to say that her referral letter arrived for Belfast... The same day she got a positive pregnancy test💖💖 amazing news and congratulations xx From this I take hope and motivation that when you are guided and treated holistically great things happen😘😘
Exactly 😘
I've shared this before but it is so easy to do.. it is actually for both men and women to do...it can be done at any time of the day and as many times as you want 😘
If there is anything common I have discovered with fertility clients is that they feel they are taking control. By having reflexology and also working alongside me in gathering other holistic fertility treatments such as castor oil packs and tummy massage. Clients are becoming involved in their own journey holistically.... I'm loving this part of my journey of discovery. If you know anyone who wants to be a part of it then message me here or call me direct.
