When people get caught up about loosing 'weight' just sit back and ask yourself, do you want to loose 'weight' or 'fat' once you know the answer to that question you can then focus on training that is suitable for your needs. Loosing weight is essentially decreasing muscle size, loosing fat is what most people are out to achieve so why step on the scales? Dishearten yourself every time you gained a pound but your feeling great about how you look. Well don't look no further. The picture below demonstrates what 5kg of fat looks like. Fat is big in volume and covers a lot of surface area. So the next time your feeling down and wanting to loose 'weight' take a step back and ask yourself what you really want to loose.
