In 2016 Fi was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. Since then she has turned her life (and health) around through yoga, meditation, time in nature and healthy eating. She wants to help others to do the same too!

ADULT'S YOGA
Modern society is filled with stresses and strains that cause dis-ease within the body. Fi's adult yoga classes are carefully designed to help you relax and unwind during a full body work out.
Your body will love it!
She runs classes designed to work your whole body, burn calories and build muscle tone as well as gentler classes that will allow you to let go of stress and provide your body and mind with the opportunity to relax and heal.
All of her classes end with a relaxation session during which she utilises the knowledge she gained whilst studying hypnotherapy as well as her experience as a daily meditator.
CHILDREN'S YOGA
Working with Fi Munro you can be assured that your children are in safe hands.
She has over a decade of experience with children, a PVG, a PhD in children's outdoor play and learning, First Aid Training and full insurance. She was also on the Board of Directors for Play Scotland for 2 years.
Her story led classes are designed to:
- develop positive body awareness
- teach children how to use their bodies in a healthy way
- help children to manage stress through breathing meditation and
healthy movement
- build concentration and improves attention
- increase children’s confidence and positive self-image
- help children to feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group
- provide children with a healthy alternative to electronic play
Fi's children yoga classes are story-led, child-centred and fun. This ensures that the children are kept engaged through age appropriate activities that introduce them to yoga postures, breathing and meditation.
These classes provide children with a structured exercise routine that helps teach them to care for themselves and others. Through story telling children are able to learn about yoga postures that provide strength and balance whilst also aiding their immune system.
The classes will teach children breathing exercises that are proven in aiding concentration, anxiety and stress whilst also helping to improve sleep patterns.
