Dear fellow alumni, As you know, myself, Enricah A. Dulo, E Vie Francq, Catherine Bevilaqua, Sylvain Aubry and Bruck Teshome, have been the acting Board members for this alumni group since our term ended almost 2 years ago. Since then, we have been debating which option would be best for this important community of Human Rights graduates to remain connected and engaged with the Essex Human Rights Center. It is with sadness, but excitement for more involvement of the alumni community, that I relay the news that the outgoing EHRAA board and Association will dissolve this fall. Hence, there will be no requirement of annual payments from you, but we shall continue with this Facebook page and the Yahoo group; and will operate within the larger alumni structure of Essex University. We have also authorized the use of our revolving funds, from your past subscription payments, to be used as a scholarship fund in the name of the late Professor Kevin Boyle (Joan Boyle) for deserving students from developing nations who wish to pursue a degree at the Essex Human Rights Center. We will keep you posted on the possible continued fundraising that may be needed to replenish the funds for the scholarship through Facebook and the Yahoo group. Let's know if you have any questions and or suggestions. Luisa Handem Piette LLM International Human Rights Law, 1988
