Out training down south tonight, Yamaha 772 race team, brilliant set of lads and lasses all training very hard with a winning mentality, great to see and be apart of. And the coach Craig in the middle also doing everything showing them the hard work and dedication it takes. #kellys #kellysheroes
So how did everybody feel after last nights session? The next hill session will be next Friday the 27th 18.15 - 19.00
Brilliant session on the hill tonight. Loving this class, everybody putting in a solid effort. Simple yet effective, that's what we are all about. Same again next Friday 18.15 - 19.00 Work smarter not harder 👊🏼👊🏼💪🏼

Following from last weeks workout I filmed myself doing the workout on Thursday, unfortunately for me the original workout didn't record fully so I did a 6th set 😕 basically just to show you how the exercises should be done. Give it a bash and time yourself, let me know how you got on.
Unfortunately I can't do the Friday hill session this week, I can however do Wednesday at a slightly later time of 7.15-8.00. Let me know if you fancy it, had positive feedback from the last 2 sessions.
So who's coming training Friday night? 6.15 - 7.00 £3.00 for the session, outside. Meet at the top of queens park hill in Castleford, wear something suitable for the weather as it's looking quite chilly. 👊🏼💪🏼
So I've set a little workout for a few people to try. For time, clock starts and doesn't stop until the last jump has been done. 5 sets of the following. 20 press ups 20 burpees 20 squats 20 leg raises 20 knees to chest (high jump, explosive)

So last week I posted the run I did... I wasn't happy with the fact my average mile was over 8minutes, might seem a bit silly but it gave me something to aim for. Up at 5.00 set off to work then home for 4.30, stepped in the house and it was lovely and warm, but I knew I needed to get out. So changed then out, horrible 😂 freezing cold, heavy breathing but I just gritted it out, knocked off 19secs for my average mile, I just wanted to get home quicker 😂😂 Moral of the story, you can always find an excuse not to train, something will always come up, just get your ass in gear and get out, you'll be glad you did afterwards.
So when I'm in the gym on Saturdays I'll be going over (if anybody would like to try) ring muscle-ups, breaking it down into simple steps and progressions that will have you above the rings in no time. The muscle-up is a "basic" move which gymnasts use to progress onto much harder/complex movements. I like to try keep them strict and as clean as possible.
