Specialist Physiotherapy Clinic on Harborne High Street based at the Barefoot Yoga Studio. Specialists also in organising CPD courses. Why are we different?
We are the only physiotherapy practice in The West Midlands with specialist physiotherapists who in addition to being experts in their field and are also heavily involved with the training of other physiotherapists. Gerard frequently teaches Physio courses in the UK, Ireland and Internationally. Gemma also teaches courses to other physios in the UK/ Ireland. We are also one of the only Physio practices in the West Midlands to have a specialist Women’s Health Physio. Our Physio led Bike Fit service is one of only a few in the UK.
Our clinicians are recognised leaders in their areas of clinical expertise.

However, we also deliver this service ( FREE) as part of our Mummy MOT in Harborne Barefoot Birmingham. Allows us to check your tummy gap, Abdominals and Pelvic floor activity from abdominal scanning. We can look internally but stay external. Training in London this weekend with our good friend and mentor Maria Elliot from The Harley St. Pelvic Health group. We now have 3 Specialist physios in The Birmingham Clinic who deliver the Mummy MOT. We can also look at your tummy muscles or tummy gap with our ultrasound scanner at no extra charge and see how your Pelvic floor is functioning by putting the probe on your lower tummy so all external. Despite 3 of us doing it we have a 3 week waiting list so always best to book in advance or drop us an email via www.harbornephysio.co.uk

Busy weekend at The Clinic where we held an Introductory Pelvic Floor Course with world class tutor and good friend Dr Ruth Jones
After many requests to teach a course around what we both do in the Birmingham Pelvic Pregnancy & Pelvic Health clinic Fiona and I have named the date 😍 😂😂. We are teaching together on Sat/ Sunday 18/19th Nov in Birmingham UK. The course is already half full despite not promoting it yet. Super to have a strong and influential supporter in Stephanie from Kegel8. She has become a good friend also and the 3 of us share the common goal of helping as many women as we can. Brilliant to welcome one of the world's leading Pelvic Health Physio clinicians and researchers Dr Ruth Jones to our clinic in Harborne again for her 2 day course. Ruth is a frequent guest and has in no small way helped us build one of the few specialist Pelvic Health Physio clinics in The UK that sees females, males and young children and teens with pelvic floor issues. She has been a strong mentor for myself Fiona, Lisa and Sundeep. Big thx to Alfie and Linda for some amazing food at Wok Chi also 😊😊
A real honour to welcome Dr. Shereen from Cairo to our Pelvic Floor course this weekend in Birmingham. She is one of N Africa's top Pelvic Health Physios . We also have physios from Iceland, Estonia,Greece, Ireland, N Ireland and UK with us. Our main focus is always our patients at the Barefoot Birmingham clinic but it's also great to deliver internationally recognised education courses in Pelvic Health Physio also.
