COMMUNITY INSPIRATION AWARDS 2017 Nominations for the Community Inspiration Awards 2017 are now open. Completed applications should be sent before the deadline 24th March 2017. Applications and further info can be downloaded and found from: www.cia2017.thecommunityfoundation.org.uk The Community Inspiration Awards has been organised by the Community Foundation, to recognise outstanding contributions made by staff from public sector organisations and members of the community, whose efforts and contributions have made a positive difference in the community and has inspired and motivated others. Last year, we were inundated with hundreds of applications from very trail blazing individuals from the community Last year, we were presented with hundreds of applications from very high achieving individuals from the community, public sector organisations and businesses. Our judges’ shortlisted 80 nominees from the hundreds of high calibre selections received from across the country. Awards were presented to 3 finalists for each of the 18 award categories by a host of MPs, Council Leaders and chief officers from public sector bodies. This year’s Community Inspiration Awards will be held in August 2017 where our panel of honored judges will announce the winners. Like previous years, awards will be presented by various dignitaries, including leading businessman and women, chief officers from public sector organisations, senior government officers, and Members of Parliament and European Parliament. With 16 award categories to choose from, you can nominate somebody who you think deserves an award. Individuals can also submit a self-nomination, with the support of an independent verifier (basically, someone who can vouch for your good work!) Nomination is open to all and there is no minimum or maximum age limit. Individuals can be nominated for more than one award category where applicable. We also have sponsorship opportunities. By sponsoring the Community Inspiration Awards, your organisation will make a significant difference in helping to recognise the outstanding achievements made by the people and organisations, whose efforts have made a positive difference in the community and has inspired and motivated others. These contributions often go unnoticed and are not publically mentioned or celebrated. Through your support, we can make sure earned recognition is given to these selfless individuals. We have a range of sponsorship packages available which offer sponsors a variety of branding opportunities throughout the event promotional schedule as well as in the awards brochure, on the website and at the event itself. We have four main sponsorship categories 1. Award Sponsorship (sponsorship fee £100) 2. Gold Sponsorship (sponsorship fee £250.00) 3. Platinum Sponsorship (sponsorship fee £500.00) 4.
