Essex Indians collaborative work begins for 2018. Our pledge to support Humanity Hospital and vision of Mrs Subhasini Mistry received support from different spheres of life . Advatech Healthcare Europe group , UK doctorchef and CMC 88 alumni group joined together . Advatech founder Mr Samit Kumar Biswas donated air conditioned BLS ambulance. Essex Indians and other two groups donated fund for ventilator for ambulance . This fund was raised through our Christmas and New years party. Thanks a million to Essex Indian community This donation is really a miniscule amount to the fund needed to support this Hospital. So any Idea of fund raising and support to the hospital will be really appreciated .
Bhasa Dibos -International mother language day is most important day for any culture. It celebrates your connection to your language and heritage. This event is a humble attempt byEssex Indians to connect next generation to its roots. Evening will showcase cultural progrmme highlighting reflective thoughts and traditional and folk performances. Light dinner will be served at the end of the event. Ticket will cost £10/person, kids 6-12 yrs - £5. Essex Indians is a community organisation run by voluntary donation. Ticket will cover the cost of progamme and food arrangements.
As Saraswati puja and International language day is approaching fast- it's so nice to see that our language club is flourishing and parents are taking initiative to connect kids to the mother tongue . It's started on 21st February 2014. Our Bengali club is well established within global and local community . Our participants are from Melbourne, Edinburgh, Derby, Woodford, Barnet , Hanault, South Woodford, Upminster , Billericay and Chelmsford and Wickford . Saraswatipuja means ----'
A very popular event organised by Essex Indians group for the community. Open air colour play is highlight of the event. There will be home cooked hot food,music ,dance and unlimited masti to celebrate spirit of holi. Ethnic art & crafts,clothes mela will be there along with mouth watering street foods. Attendance of the event is by pre booking only. Adults and teens-£12,kids-5-12 yrs-£7,kids below 5 yrs free. Ticket will include buffet dinner,soft drinks and colour .Free onsite car park, secured garden for kids to play. 10 minutes walk from Brentwood station(Oyster zone).
